Main Company Number
Attached it to an IVR, calling Queue, or set to dial a single or a group of extensions. Set different schedules for different routes - time of day, day of week, day of year, etc.
Local or Geographic Number*
This is a number outside of your area that gives a caller in other geographical regions of the country or world the ability to call you without incurring any long distance charges.
Toll-Free Number
The current Toll free codes: 800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844. Providing one of these numbers allows your customers to call you without incurring any long distance charges.
Music on Hold
With Axis-VoIP, we not only offer the standard music that plays when a caller is put on hold, but also allow each incoming line, extension, and calling queues to have their own unique music on hold.
IVR - Virtual Receptionist
An IVR is a menu system that allows you to give the caller the option to direct themselves to the right department, eg Support, Sales, Billing, or to a calling queue or an extension. An IVR can be used in many different ways; it does not have to be what answers the phone, it can be used if no one answers the phone. Call for more details.
Call Queue
A calling queue is a waiting room for callers to hold while your sales, support, billing, etc department or extension is taking care of other customers. While a caller is in the queue they can listen to music, or recorded advertisement catered to that queue.
Paging and Paging Groups
This is a nice feature to see if someone is at their desk or anywhere in the building. Dialing a simple code, you can page right to the intercom for one or a group of extensions.
Call Recording On-Demand**
At the extension level, you can record all incoming and outbound calls or you can record on demand by simply dialing a code once the call is connected.
Call Recording: Company-Wide**
With the Axis-VoIP PBX system, you have several options when it comes to call recording. You can record all incoming and or all outbound calls.
Call Conference
Free with each tenant comes 1 conference bridge. Meetings between colleagues, business partners, or even employees are simple and easy to do. Using our web interface you have the ability to manage and control every aspect of the meetings and easily mute or record the group or a single user.
Call Hold
While in the VoIP world, hold can be achieved simply by pressing the hold button on your phone. This is a local hold that applies to your phones only. In the Digital world, parking lots are widely used so that once you park a call it can be picked up from any phone in the system, including remote phones and softphones.
Call Transfer
There are 2 different way you can transfer a call:
First is called a warm transfer. A warm transfer gives you the ability to talk to the person to whom you're transferring the call, letting them know who is on the line.
Second is a blind transfer. This means that calls are sent directly to the extension without talking to them first.
Call Waiting
Call waiting simply lets you know that you have another call and gives you the option to take the call or send it to voicemail.
Do Not Disturb
If you DND your phone for whatever reason, the system can be set to have a variety of responses: everything from sending the call to voicemail, another extension, an outside line, and more.
Emergency Assistance (e911)
e911 provides emergency service to cell and Internet voice calls "VoIP." Communicating essential information to emergency operators.
Follow Me
This enhanced service gives you up to 10 options on what to do when you get a call and are not at your desk, busy on the phone, or even DND.
Shared SIP support
This great feature give you the ability to connect up to 3 devices: office phone, remote home phone, and a softphone on your cell all to the same account. Simple to use—never be unavailable again—what one phone does, they all do, so you are never out of touch.
Paperless Fax
Email-to-fax and fax-to-email gets rid of that paper clutter.
Seven-Digit Dialing
Dial other numbers within your area code without having to dial all 10 digits.
Virtual Mailbox
While this mail box has a number just like any other extension, there is no phone attached to it. These extensions are commonly used for general mailboxes.
Voicemail
Listen from your phone, from an email with voicemail-to-email, or from the User Portal.
Busy Lamp Field (BLF)
This feature allows you to see from one phone when a user on another phone is on or off the phone; it can also be used as a speed dial for that extension.
Caller ID
Axis-VoIP caller ID includes both name and number.
Caller ID Block
With this simple feature code you can add any number to the company's or the extension's blacklist.
Admin Portal
Powerful administration portal where you control 100% of the way your calls are routed. You control the user extensions, provisioning of extensions, as well as access to the cutting edge ScopSTATS reporting tool!
User Portal
The enhanced user portal provides a simple to use, mobile friendly interface that allows you to set your forwarding, Follow Me, and voice mail settings. From there you can also listen to, email, and download your voicemail messages.
Personal IVR
The PIVR works the same as the IVR previously listed. The only difference is it's part of and included with your extension. It has all the same functionality as a standard IVR.
Wakeup Calls
It can wake you in the morning or you can use it as a reminder for most any event or activity. Set the wake up call and the system will call you at the designated time.
